Leaving Certificate and College Course Guidance – Help with CAO Application Process

The Leaving Certificate Student Service begins with the student learning about themselves. We start with an in-depth discussion about their interests, any goals they may have, an academic overview, input from parents, guardians and psychometric testing. Psychometric testing results do not determine any outcome, they are just one additional piece of data to help us create a tailored academic / career plan.

Once a new client assessment has been completed, a broad review of many potential career paths occurs to determine a client’s interest level. As we move through the program, we tend to see light bulbs going off in our students. We never make decisions for our clients. Our goal is always to help our clients better understand themselves and explore potential academic and career paths. We are here to facilitate your career guidance, to support and encourage you.
